Drawing upon 20 years of experience in human rights grantmaking and advocacy, I support non-profit organizations on a range of needs. My clients (many of them listed below) include private foundations, public charities, donor networks and collaboratives, and non-governmental organizations working to promote human rights and social justice around the world.

The services I offer:

  • Conduct research and analysis to inform donors’ strategies.

  • Evaluate grant applications and provide recommendations to help funders make decisions.

  • Draft fundraising proposals and reports to help NGOs and intermediary funders sustain their work.

  • Design meetings to build relationships, foster learning and share best practices among diverse stakeholders.

  • Gather and synthesize information to help organizations:

    • Tell the story of their journey and impact;

    • Bring attention and drive funding to overlooked issues;

    • Develop case studies for learning and to document progress; and

    • Create accessible resources to share best practices.

My clients are often seeking help on projects they would do themselves, if only they had the time. Having been on that side of the table, I approach each project with a spirit of curiosity and partnership, offering thoughtful, practical and reliable support.
